Living in the City

I have not been around lately. My time has been consumed with "tweaking my blog templates ( as if) :-) My absence also was due to inaccessibility to a computer. I get to have 'access' at around 11:00 in the evening and by that time I am all exhausted to do my posting. But I am almost back. Thanks to all of you.

This blogging experience seems to be getting better and better everyday. Last night, my partner told me that his PR2 rank was restored by Google. Where it was PR0 for the last couple of months, he was ecstatic he's back under Google's good grace. For me, well this blog also noted an increase. My two others retained its PR but one blog, that one, talking about health and wellness was downgraded to PR0 from PR2. Ooohhh that hurts. The truth is I have earned a little money from my blogs. Very, very liiitttllle actually. But if I were paying my own broadband utilities, then what I earned will just pay for 3 months (My son pays for our BB) broadband service. That is the unrefined truth. But that's okey. It's really the amount of time and effort I continue to invest in this 'endeavor' that makes me hopeful. I know that something more meaningful will ensue. In the mean time, back to grinding my next post topic/s :-) Cheers!

I got into this new blogging community. Well, to increase my online visibility, that's why. Initially, blogging was a means to drown my on and off depression. It kept me busy and productive in a way and I am succeeding I suppose. My new shot of adrenaline urges me to take it to the next level. Meaning - on a permanent basis, if things go well. The 'next level' means to make something out my blog/s. How on earth I'd accomplish that is another story. But that's my plan. For starters, I am trying to change the look of my blog. At the moment I could not afford to ask a professional to change my blog's design. To improve it aesthetically, you see. I am on my way. The sooner the better. I decided to add a new dimension to my blog title -- and that is to specifically mention the city where I live. Introducing, tadah Marikina City. I am so proud I live here, a place where citizens are of "mabubuting ugali". Translation, majority of people who live here are of good manners and good conduct. Yah! I think I got that right. And today I was screen shooting lots of things. My blog catalog, weblog, spicy, even my google page searches. Tinkering, tinkering. I was also just curious how people will find my blogs if they use google. And the screen shot here shows me how :-) I don't really know why I am smiling. Maybe I am amused?

It's been a month since I have been on the web everyday spending no less than 5 hours posting, visiting, commenting, etc., others. My goal was to do quality posts to make my blogs at the very least more interesting with content useful to others. Aaarrrggghhh. I must admit I am far from achieving these objectives. Today, I have several inactive blogs tackling different subjects -- aspects of my life that is. The truth is I am disappointed. From what I have visited so far, my blog/s feel/s inadequate --- in design, content and relevance. Now that looks like a tall order but I will try to do better. I promise this to myself.
