Kate Moss' Self-Portrait On Sale

I did not know that Kate Moss, that 'waifish' but very famous British model can actually paint. And would you believe her painting medium is her own lipstick? This is her first. And guess what it shall be sold soon by Scotland based auction house Lyon and Turnbull. Estimated to be up for grabs between the cost of 30,000 to 40,000 pounds.

It is a self-portrait done in 2005-2006 and contains Kate Moss' "own lip prints and stain of her former boyfriend' Pete Doherty's blood". See the full news article here.

Kate Moss, bearing a child like face and who's 'been linked before to my favorite Johnny Depp, has appeared in more than 300 magazine covers and worked with the world's top fashion designers like Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Calvin Klein, Roberto Cavalli, Chanel, Missoni, Dior, Yves Saint-Laurent, Burberry, and Stella McCartney.

In recent years, she has however, received bad press due to her alleged drug habits.

I guess when you are rich and famous, you can do anything, can't you?

Now, where is the world really going if I may humbly ask?

Living with City Density

It is a must that we curb our population growth
Guesstimates peg that  Metro Manila's population has grown to almost 15million  today. In 1974 while doing my OJT at POPCOM, national rowth rate was 33% and Metro Manila's population at that time was 4 million.  Today it has bloated to almost 15 million after rate was said to have been  'reduced' to 32.1%. Not much improvement really.
Metro Manila population has grown alarmingly fast.  We all know what this means. Living and  health  conditions deteriorate.  Poverty becomes the order of the day. If there are more than 15,000 individuals on a mere square kilometer, you can imagine  pollution, over crowding, resources dwindling and then disease not to mention managing flood disasters in the magnitude of Ondoy and Pepeng. Poor social and economic conditions prevail if not worsen.
